Witness First, Think Later
Life is a dance. Mindfulness is witnessing that dance.
The dance doesn't wait for you to understand it. This morning, before your mind catalogues the day's demands, notice what's already moving: your breath, the weight of your body in a chair, the light changing on a wall. Witnessing isn't passive. It's the precise work of showing up to what's already here, without commentary, without the need to fix it. The dance continues whether you judge it or not. Your only choice is whether you're present for it.
Question for today
What happens if you notice one thing fully before you decide what to do about it?
Practice
Take thirty slow steps on level ground before you think about anything else. Let your feet tell you where you are.
