Today Is All You Have
Nothing is worth more than this day. You cannot relive yesterday. Tomorrow is still beyond your reach.
This day arrives without permission, without guarantee of return. The only honest work is to meet it as it is, not as you hoped it would be. Not tomorrow when you are readier, or yesterday when you knew better. Right now, in this ordinary morning, the full weight of your life presses down and lifts up at once. That pressure is the shape of being alive. It asks nothing but your actual presence.
Question for today
What one small thing can you do today that only today allows?
Practice
Before you check your phone, name one thing you can do right now that matters to you, then do it for five minutes.
