The Present Moment Is All You Have
Realize deeply that the present moment is all you have.
The present moment is not a feeling. It's the sharp detail of what's actually here: your hand around the coffee cup, the temperature of the ceramic, the specific quality of light on your face right now. Not yesterday's regret. Not tomorrow's worry. This breath, this thought, this small thing in front of you. When your mind reaches backward or forward, it's not wrong. It's just no longer here. Notice when you've left. Then come back.
Question for today
What small thing in front of you right now deserves your full attention?
Practice
Before checking your phone, pause. Name one thing you can see, one you can feel, one you can hear. Take your time.
